Lanzer's Joystick Building Guide - Soldering

An opened joypad looks like this on the top. You'll need to
solder wires on the the leads leading to each button, and depending
on which joypad you're working with, the difficulty also changes.
The top one is the older version of the Sony PSX joypad, and the
bottom one is the newer version. Notice the newer one has little
spots that you can solder on while for the older pad you have to
solder on the small leads instead.
The green arrow points to the ground. Simple enough, ground touches
every switch on the board.
